I am a Christian, wife, mom, songwriter, and elementary teacher. I enjoy family adventures, both, big and small, whether it is building forts and camping out in the living room, taking walks, playing games, baking cookies, roasting marshmallows in our backyard, and more. I also enjoy cooking, working in our yard, writing songs, playing golf, and watching movies… yes, including Hallmark.

This year marks the beginning of a different kind of a journey that God placed on my heart, really months and even years ago. It is not about resolutions, but courage to keep growing and stepping outside of my comfort zone with faith. While I am sometimes eager to know what this year will look like, I have to trust His plan by listening, moving forward one day at a time, and being obedient using what I do know today.

 

Here is just one way I can begin sharing what God has done and is doing in my life. It is my hope that my reflections blog and music will make a difference in some way, shape, or form in someone’s life. I hope that I can inspire another person to seek out and fulfill their God-given purpose. For someone else, I hope it helps to know they are not alone, even in facing challenges or grief. And for another mom, I hope this is one more place to find connection and affirmation that you are doing your best, that it is okay to laugh, cry, and not be perfect. May this be a place that brings Him glory and a light to others.
